The Marlette Community Art Center is dedicated to appreciating the artisans in our midst by enhancing our community’s experience with the arts. MCAC’s intent is to also nurture and support aspiring artists and find creative ways to expand our community’s access to and participation with the arts.

Art classes are offered by local artisans, often incorporating school-based workshops for students K-12. Art shows, performances and community art projects are also sponsored. “MCAC - Bringing together art, artists and the community in ways that benefit all three!”

In its short history, the MCAC has attracted the support of many generous financial contributors, underscoring the importance of the art center’s work.

The Marlette Community Art Center is also in the process of developing a series of evening art classes that features area artisans who will offer an introduction to their craft.

The MCAC also actively promotes the efforts and events of other area art councils.

The MCAC board is also evaluating the acquisition of real estate that would represent a permanent commitment to area artists, students and the community. The facility would provide space for small performances, an exhibit gallery, class and work-rooms.
